I was recently invited by to present my work and conduct a one week digital design/fabrication workshop at the University of Toronto. The workshop was part of the MLA Visual Communications studio taught by Nadia Amoroso and focuses on digital strategies for design representation. The workshop objectives were to introduce students to current theories and trends in 3D modeling, visualization, and fabrication utilized in contemporary landscape architecture practices and allied professions. This was accomplished by intensive tutorials in Rhino 3D modeling, V-Ray rendering, Photoshop post-processing, and laser cutter fabrication.
